Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Daily Dumpster (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates dailydumpster.com (the “Site”), collects, uses and shares information when you visit the Site. The Site is operated by Sonny Cohen. By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code and a description of your project.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of your visit. Much of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use information

  • To answer your questions and messages.
  • If you ask us to, to pass your request to one or more independent local service providers who may be able to help with your project (see Section 5).
  • To run, secure and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it.
  • To show advertising, including personalized advertising where permitted.
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to make the Site work, to measure traffic and to serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

4. Advertising: Google AdSense and third-party vendors

We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a consent message (certified consent management platform) before personalized ads are shown.

5. Analytics: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited and time on the Site, and reports aggregated statistics to us. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information:

  • With service providers who help us run the Site (hosting, email, analytics, advertising).
  • With independent local providers (for example dumpster rental or junk removal companies), only if you ask us to connect you with them. Those providers are separate businesses with their own privacy practices; we are not responsible for their services.
  • When required by law or to protect rights, safety and the Site.

Some sharing of cookie data with advertising partners may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. See Section 8.

7. Data retention and security

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, and then delete them. We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

8. Your privacy rights (including California residents)

Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly discriminate against anyone for using these rights. To make a request, send us a message through our contact form. You can also use the opt-out links in Sections 4 and 5, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other websites

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
